DS Achieve’s Empowerment Group is a programme of activities which is carefully designed to give parents/carers the opportunity to take a break from usual life and to focus on their wellbeing.

We recognise that we, as parents/carers, can find it difficult to have time for and focus on ourselves. It is proven that the better we feel about ourselves, the better we deal with what life throws at us.

Empowerment is described as... "the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one's life and claiming one's rights" and we want to help you do this!  Therefore, the Empowerment Group gives parents/carers regular time for ourselves, social opportunities and the chance to do something fun.

So come along and join us for drinks and nibbles, while creating  a colourful pottery masterpiece!  You can spend as much or as little money as you like.  Refreshments will be provided.
