Changes to our Board of Trustees

We wanted to share an update about some changes to our Board of Trustees over the coming months as DS Achieve continues to grow and develop.

As planned, Kelly Harris and Michelle Bolton will both be stepping down from their shared Co-Chair roles. Kelly will be leaving DS Achieve at the end of October, while Michelle will continue as Chair until the end of December, before returning to her role as a Trustee in January 2027.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Kelly for everything she has contributed to DS Achieve. She has played an important role in helping to strengthen the charity, guide its development and plan for the future. We are incredibly grateful for the time, commitment and energy she has given, and for the support she has provided to the charity, our team and the families we work with.

We would also like to recognise Michelle's continued commitment and thank her for continuing with the Chair role during this transition. Our thanks go to all our Trustees for the time, expertise and support they give behind the scenes to help DS Achieve run effectively and continue moving forward.

Looking ahead, we are delighted to announce that Rachel Angus will be joining us as Chair of Trustees from January 2027. Some of our families may remember Rachel from her previous time as a Trustee, and we are really looking forward to welcoming her back to the Board.

With a strong team in place, a dedicated Board of Trustees and demand for our services continuing to grow, we are excited about the next chapter for DS Achieve and the opportunities ahead to support even more children, young people and families.

Thank you, as always, to everyone who plays a part in making DS Achieve such a special community.
